GoKeto: Low Carb No Sugar Beverages

I once thought that going on a low carb diet translates to bland and boring meals and drinks. Later did I realize that there’s a lot of healthier alternatives out there, which are readily available and easier to purchase.

When I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes, I know I had to change my diet. My initial thought was giving up all the sugary treats. My world crashed when my doctor told me that I shouldn’t only give up the sweets but I should cut down my rice and go 16-hour intermittent fasting.

It was an endless cycle. The stress, poor eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle – these have taken toll in my body.

Those severe headaches and fatigue that I experienced for years were symptoms of my disease.

When my diabetes was confirmed, I was forced to change my eating habits. And I am so glad that I did because these helped me big time in easing my pains and the lethargy.

With the diet change, I was able to shed some pounds. I am far from my ideal weight. Still a long way to go. But I am certainly happy that I am feeling the improvements now that I rarely have migraine attacks and I am feeling much better.
